A spontaneous contribution
Louisa Li, former chief financial officer of Bernard Controls China, expressed how she felt about some aspects of her work through a play on Chinese characters, both verbal and visual, written on a whiteboard.
The work belongs to the “spontaneous contributions”: acts, drawings, quotations and small gestures by different people working at Bernard Controls in 2010–2011. This kind of expression was later formalised into the WORK / LIVE practice and method.
