Students of the EDAM and ACSH master's programs spent a week of actions and exchanges with the staff of the Gonesse factory.

A week at the factory

Professors Fabienne Flambard and Alissone Perdrix organized a workshop for two master's programs of the Visual Arts Department of Université Paris 8: EDAM (Ecology of Arts and Media) and ACSH (Contemporary Arts and Humanities).

At the beginning of 2025 the students were welcomed at the Bernard Controls factory in Gonesse. For the first three days Christine Bernard and Alessandro Rolandi, founder of the first Social Sensibility R&D Department in Beijing, accompanied them, paying close attention to what they wished to explore. The workshop had been prepared since June 2024 with Blandine de La Taille, coordinator of the Social Sensibility R&D Department in Gonesse.

The experience led to an exhibition and a publication with Université Paris 8.
